Founded in 2021, Shenzhen Hong Kong Pui Kiu College Longhua Xinyi School (PKXYS) combines Chinese and Western educational practices and bridges Shenzhen and Hong Kong. It is the first international boarding school in the Mainland of China to offer three curricula, namely mainland curriculum, Hong Kong curriculum, and international curriculum. In addition, it is the first school in the the Mainland of China to adopt an operational model aligned with Hong Kong's subsidised or direct subsidy scheme schools. This model has been coordinated by the Hong Kong Education Bureau, and confirmed by the Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation (HKCAA) through external evaluation. In 2023,Shenzhen Hong Kong Pui Kiu College Longhua Xinyi Kindergarten was founded, and PKXYS became the first 16-year through-train school in the Mainland of China for Hong Kong students, offering education from kindergarten to high school.
As an exemplary school integrating Shenzhen and Hong Kong's education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, PKXYS boasts a wealth of resources from both regions, including policy support from both governments, state-of-the-art campus facilities, and the superior educational resources of the Pui Kiu Educational Foundation.
The school fully adopts Hong Kong's curricula, teaching methodologies, and teaching staff to offer a rich English language environment and international culture, while also incorporating the Mainland's traditional strengths in Chinese language, mathematics, Chinese culture, and traditional virtues.
