2023年11月25日，香港2023年度勳銜頒授典禮於香港禮賓府舉行，香港特別行政區行政長官李家超在典禮上頒授勳銜和獎狀予出席的379名受勳人士。其中，信義集團主席、本校董事會主席李賢義先生因其對香港社會持續作出的傑出貢獻，被授予銀紫荊星章。

On 25 November, 2023, the Hong Kong 2023 Honours and Awards Presentation Ceremony was held at the Government House in Hong Kong. The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Mr. Lee Ka-chiu, presented honours and certificates to 379 awardees present at the ceremony. Among the awardees, Mr. Lee Yin-yee, the Chairman of the Xinyi Group and PKXYS’s school board, was awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star for his outstanding and continuous contributions to Hong Kong society.

香港特區政府評價李賢義主席是“知名工業家，致力促進香港及內地交流。他牽線搭橋，並出資在深圳籌辦第一所持有香港教師資格證可執教的內地學校，助力解決跨境學童上學不便的問題，亦是兩地教育協作的一項首創之舉。多年來，李先生熱心服務社會，樂善好施，故獲頒授銀紫荊星章。”

The Hong Kong SAR Government praised Chairman Lee Yin-yee as "a prominent industrialist dedicated to promoting exchanges between Hong Kong and the mainland. He has bridged connections and invested in establishing the first mainland school in Shenzhen qualified to educate students on the Hong Kong curriculum, helping to address the inconvenience of cross-border students commuting. This initiative is a pioneering effort in cross-border educational collaboration. Over the years, Mr. Lee has served the community with passion, generosity, and benevolence, hence being awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star."

自2008年獲頒香港特區政府榮譽勳章，2015年被授予銅紫荊星章以來，李賢義主席未曾停歇在慈善工作上的腳步。他的慷慨捐資支援了多項社會服務專案，包括教育、環保和扶貧工作，為提升社會福祉作出了巨大貢獻，是我國慈善事業發展的重要推動者。銀紫荊星章的頒授是對李賢義主席在慈善事業上的傑出貢獻和仁心善舉的高度肯定。

Even after receiving the Medal of Honours in 2008 and the Bronze Bauhinia Star in 2015, Chairman Lee Yin-yee did not stop his charitable efforts. His generous donations have supported various social service projects, including education, environmental protection, and poverty alleviation. These supports enhance the well-being of the society. He has always been a critical driver of charitable development in China. The award of the Silver Bauhinia Star is a high recognition of Chairman Lee Yin-yee's outstanding contributions and benevolence in charitable work.

另一方面，香港工業總會於11月17日向李賢義主席頒授象徵香港本地工業界最高殊榮的“傑出工業家獎”。表彰他在行業上有超卓成就，同時積極推動工業升級轉型，對香港工業和社會做出超凡貢獻。李賢義主席表示：“非常榮幸能夠獲得香港工業總會頒發的‘2023傑出工業家’，這不僅是對我個人，更是對信義長期以來在產業上的貢獻給予的認同，也代表著對整個工業界的認可和鼓勵。”

On the other hand, the Federation of Hong Kong Industries awarded Chairman Lee Yin-yee the "Industrialist of the Year Award" on 17 November, the highest honour in the local Hong Kong industrial sector. The award recognizes his distinguished accomplishments in the industry and his active promotion of industrial upgrading and transformation. All these achievements make extraordinary contributions to Hong Kong's industry and society. Chairman Lee Yin-yee stated, "I am very honoured to receive the '2023 Industrialist of the Year Award' from the Federation of Hong Kong Industries. This is not only an acknowledgment to me, but a recognition for Xinyi's long-term contributions to the industry and an encouragement to the entire industrial sector itself."

這兩項殊榮的獲得進一步證明了李賢義主席在慈善事業和工業界的卓越貢獻和領導才能。他的仁心善舉和對社會的關懷，使他成為慈善界的典範，而在工業界的傑出成就則彰顯了他的創新能力和領導才能。

These two honours further confirm Chairman Lee Yin-yee's exceptional contributions and leadership in both charitable work and the industrial sector. His benevolence and concern for society have made him an exemplar in the charitable field, while his outstanding achievements in the industrial sector showcase his ability of innovation and leadership.

仁者賢義，李賢義是信義玻璃控股有限公司的創辦人及董事局主席，曾任全國政協委員二十年，是深圳市榮譽市民。李賢義主席熱心公益，早在1993年就成立了橫崗鎮李賢義教育基金會，致力於獎教獎學，至今已堅持了30年，獎勵師生人數超過了50000人、資助特困生超過2000人，獎教獎學助學金額超過7200萬元。信義集團自創建以來，向社會捐資捐贈總額超過25億元，全國捐建的希望學校超過80所。今年9月，為感謝李賢義主席慷慨捐資，支持香港中文大學（深圳）發展建設及貧寒優秀學子獎學，大學特將緊鄰龍翔大道的實驗樓A命名為“李賢義樓”。

Just like the virtuousness and kindness shown in his name, Chairman Lee Yin-yee is indeed a virtuous and kind person. He is the founder and chairman of Xinyi Glass Holdings Limited. Also, he has served as a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference for twenty years. He also earned the title of honorary citizen of Shenzhen. Chairman Lee Yin-yee is devoted to public welfare. As early as 1993, he established the Shenzhen Henggangzhen Lixianyi Education Foundation, dedicated to supporting outstanding educators and students. Over the past 30 years, more than 50,000 teachers and students have been rewarded, and more than 2,000 impoverished students have received financial aid, with a total amount of 72 million RMB. Since its establishment, Xinyi Group has donated over 2.5 billion RMB to society and has sponsored the construction of over 80 Hope Schools nationwide. In September of this year, in appreciation of Chairman Lee Yin-yee's generous donation to support the development and scholarships for outstanding students at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen), the university named the A-block close to Longxiang Avenue as the "Lee Yin-yee Building."

What is behind Chairman Lee Yin-yee's honours are his relentless efforts and deep concern for the society. He has actively promoted the exchanges between Hong Kong and the mainland as well as the deep integration of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. His support aims to better integrate Hong Kong into the national development framework. We will not fail to live up to his trust and continue to strive for the best, inherit and promote Chairman Lee Yin-yee's spirit of philanthropy, and make more contributions to the educational and social development of the Greater Bay Area.
