8月23日，深圳香港培僑書院龍華信義學校（以下簡稱：培僑信義學校）開展教職員迎新活動周，通過一系列精心策劃的師資培訓、團建活動，致力於構建一支與學校願景和使命緊密相連的卓越教職員隊伍，為全校師生營造優質、健康的教學及學習環境。活動周首日，中層管理培訓拉開帷幕，校長顧問温霈國先生殷切教導，為龐大的中層管理團隊深入解析學校的管理方針與發展策略，為學校高質量發展奠定堅實的管理基礎。

Shenzhen Hong Kong Pui Kiu College Longhua Xinyi School (PKXYS) launched the 2024-2025 academic year with a series of successful and engaging staff induction programs starting on 23rd August. The week was filled with activities designed to welcome new staff members, foster team spirit, and align everyone with the school's vision and mission.

8月26日，學校舉辦教職員迎新活動。培僑信義學校校長黃騰達先生介紹了各校長室成員及其職務。校長顧問溫霈國先生深入介紹了培僑教育基金會和信義集團創校的歷史和背景，學校校歌「培僑之歌」所賦予的願景、使命和期望等。

The series of events began on August 23rd with a professional development session led by our Principal Consultant, Mr. Steve WAN, for the middle management team, setting a clear direction for school management and development.

迎新活動後，各課程分別開展新學年的第一場教師專業發展研討會，圍繞多元教學方法、跨學科合作、知識共享等進行熱烈討論，旨在提昇教學質量，豐富學生的學習體驗。教師們深入探討班級管理、學業提昇、學生學習進度監督等策略，尤其關注優化課堂常規、科技融合、語言閲讀政策落實及強化寫作練習等內容。

On 26th August, the newest members of the PKXYS family were warmly welcomed into the community. Principal Mr. WONG Tang Tat Tommy followed with a comprehensive introduction to the school's leadership team, providing insights into their roles and responsibilities. Mr. WAN Pui Kwok Steve, Principal Consultant, then offered an in-depth overview of the Pui Kui Education Foundation and Xinyi Group's history and background, highlighting the school's vision, mission, and expectations as featured in the school anthem, Song of Pui Kiu.

香港課程研討會上，副校長張小妹女士深入淺出地分享如何「提昇教學效能」「優化課堂及課程設計」「課堂上及評估設計上因材施教」等經驗，為在場教師提供啟發。另外，小學部課程部以「策略+案例」為研討材料，組織工作坊、案例分享及課研等活動，鼓勵教師積極應用合作學習模式，激發學生高階思維及培養共通能力。  

Following the orientation activities, the first teacher professional development seminar of the new academic year was conducted within each course, sparking dynamic discussions on diverse teaching methods, interdisciplinary collaboration, and knowledge sharing. The seminars were designed to elevate teaching quality and enrich the student learning experience. Teachers delved into strategies for classroom management, academic improvement, and monitoring student progress, with a particular emphasis on optimizing classroom routines, integrating technology, implementing the language reading policy, and enhancing writing practices.

國際課程研討會中，英語科與經濟科老師慷慨分享在多年教學實踐中積累的成功案例，並介紹「學習文件夾管理」「漸進式教學活動設計」等高效、富有創意的教學方法和課堂常規培養。基於以學生為中心的教學理念，各位老師持續探索實踐創新的學習活動，調動學生積極性，引導學生自主學習、主動學習，有效提高學生英文水平。

In the International Curriculum Seminar, English and Economics teachers shared successful case studies from their extensive teaching experience, introducing highly effective and innovative methods such as the “folder management” and “progressive teaching activities.” Emphasizing a student-centered approach, these educators explored and implemented creative learning activities designed to foster student motivation, encourage independent and active learning, and significantly enhance English language proficiency.

內地課程重點圍繞國家義務教育課程標準開展了學習與硏討。教師們首先在綫學習了北京師範大學教育學部郭華教授關於義務教育課程標準的總體解讀，王紅軍校長就課程標準作為綱領性文件在教學實踐中的重要意義和作用進行了説明，她鼓勵教師們在多元文化氛圍中不斷學習、提昇自我，為學生提供更優質的教育。

For the Mainland Curriculum, the focus was on the National Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education. Teachers began by engaging with a comprehensive interpretation of these standards provided by Prof. Guo Hua from the Department of Education at Beijing Normal University. Principal Wang Hongjun Victoria underscored the importance of these curriculum standards as foundational guides for teaching practice and urged teachers to pursue continuous professional development within a multicultural context to deliver a higher standard of education to students.

研討會結束，各科主任帶領新教師參觀校園，新教職員們還聽取了培僑信義學校的課程和教學策略簡介，以確保為新學年做好充分準備，教職員培訓日上午活動順利結束。

The morning concluded with a campus tour. Staff members were also briefed on the curriculum and teaching strategies at PKXYS, ensuring everyone was well-prepared for the upcoming school year.

8月26下午，黃騰達校長在全校會議上表示，新學年的重點關注事項是進一步提高學生學業水平。培僑信義學校的辦學宗旨是「中西薈萃，培育能為粵港澳大灣區，為中國走向世界作出貢獻的出類拔萃新生代」。學校將緊緊圍繞辦學目標，上下一心，全力以赴，讓各位同學充分發揮自身潛能，獲得理想的學術成績及全面發展。

In the afternoon of 26th  August, Principal Wong addressed the entire school, emphasizing that the top priority for the new academic year is to raise the academic standards of students. He reaffirmed the mission of PKXYS: to “bridge the East and the West, and cultivate an exceptional new generation capable of contributing to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and China's global development.” The school will remain steadfastly focused on this mission, with the entire team working in unison to empower students to fully realize their potential, achieve outstanding academic results, and attain comprehensive personal development.

教職員培訓周進一步加強師資力量，確保全體教師在各個領域做好準備，力求將培僑信義學校建設成為高效能教學的學校，為學生提供一個充滿活力的學習環境。

The training week concluded with a focused discussion on the arrangements for the start of the school year, ensuring that both new and returning staff members are ready to contribute to the vibrant learning environment at PKXYS.

今日，教職員培訓周已完滿結束，各位教職員已為開學做好充分準備，將以飽滿昂揚的精神面貌迎接各位同學的到來！在培僑信義學校這片沃土上，每一位教職員都將攜手幷進，共同書寫學生學業進步與成果豐碩的新篇章。
