中小學德育部舉辦七一慶祝活動

July 1st --- Celebrating the Establishment of CPC and HKSAR

7月1日——中國共產黨誕生紀念日及香港回歸祖國紀念日即將到來之際，我校中小學德育及國民教育部舉辦了多項慶祝活動。

As the momentous July 1st —the anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the return of Hong Kong to the motherland approaches, our school's Moral and National Education Departments for primary and secondary students have organised a series of activities for the celebration.

6月24日，中小學一同舉行了隆重的升旗儀式，並在儀式上由中學部德育大使代表雷丹、楊元怡發表了「賀建黨·慶回歸」的國旗下講話。講話回顧了1921年建黨和1997年香港回歸的歷史，並回應了習近平主席回信培僑學生的勉勵，呼籲同學們為建設美好香港、實現民族復興積極貢獻力量。

On June 24th, a solemn flag-raising ceremony was jointly held by the primary and secondary schools. During the ceremony, Lei Dan and Yang Yuen Yi, representatives of the secondary school's moral education ambassadors, delivered a speech beneath the national flag titled "Celebrating the CPC's Founding and Hong Kong's Return". Recalling the history of the CPC's founding in 1921 and Hong Kong's return in 1997, the speech echoed President Xi Jinping's letter of encouragement to Pui Kiu students, and called on students to contribute to the building of a better Hong Kong and the realisation of national rejuvenation.

中學部班級畫報比賽

Secondary Class Poster Competition

6月19-26日，中學部舉辦了「賀建黨·慶回歸」的班級主題畫報比賽，香港課程、內地課程和國際課程的學生一同參與，巧妙地融合了建黨和回歸兩大元素。各班學生發揮創意，揮灑筆墨，創作出一幅幅精美的畫報。同學們不但培養了團隊合作能力，而且在過程中增進了國民身分認同感和自豪感。

From June 19th to 26th, a class poster competition themed "Celebrating the CPC's Founding and Hong Kong's Return" was held by the secondary section. Students from Hong Kong, mainland, and international curricula participated, integrating the two themes of party founding and Hong Kong’s return. Students in each class exercised their creativity and talent, creating beautiful posters. Through this process, students not only learned teamwork skills but also enhanced their sense of national identity and pride.

小學部班級朗誦比賽

Primary Class Speech Competition

6月25日和26日，小學部舉辦了一年一度的班級朗誦比賽。高小的學生在本校劇場，以班級集體朗誦的形式參賽。初小的小朋友們，則以個人表演或多人合作表演的形式，在自己班的教室內進行了七一班級匯演活動。

On June 25th and 26th, the primary section held its annual class speech competition. Primary students in senior grades participated in the competition together as a class in the school theatre. Meanwhile, primary students in junior grades performed either individually or in groups in their own classrooms for the July 1st class performance.

每班的朗誦表演由兩部分組成：2分鐘的指定篇章朗誦和2分鐘的自選或自創篇章朗誦。同學們通過集體朗誦，配以豐富多樣的表演形式，展現出對中華傳統文化的理解，真誠地表達出對黨的生日的慶賀，對香港未來的美好祝福和期待。

Each class's speech performance comprised two parts: the recitation of a 2-minute designated passage and a 2-minute self-selected or original passage. Through recitation and other diverse performances, students showcased their interpretation of traditional Chinese culture, celebrating the birthday of the CPC with sincerity, and expressing their wishes and expectations for Hong Kong's future.
