Amidst the vibrant blossoms of April, our school successfully held the 2025-2026 Mainland Curriculum Admission Seminar on 13th April, with the lush spring scenery adding vitality to the event. The session garnered significant attention from various sectors, with online registrations filling up quickly. Parents stepped into Pui Kiu Xinyi School, immersing themselves in the campus environment and engaging in face-to-face consultations with the faculty to gain deeper insights into our educational offerings.

At 9:00 a.m., teachers and student ambassadors greeted every visiting parent with enthusiasm. Families collected the school map, curriculum brochures, and school souvenirs, officially kicking off this beautiful school visit at PKXYS.

This admission seminar was meticulously structured around three key modules - "Curriculum Briefing, Subject Exhibition, and Campus Tour": During the curriculum introduction segment, our principal and faculty members comprehensively explained our educational framework under the guiding philosophy of "Nurture Brilliant Generations Through a Well-rounded Education." The subject exhibition dynamically demonstrated our teaching distinctives through bilingual presentations and project achievement exhibitions. The campus visit allowed parents to personally inspect our well-equipped facilities including the library, laboratories, and sports complex. This trinity approach of "Philosophy-Practice-Environment" not only gave parents a holistic understanding of our educational structure, but also enabled them to deeply appreciate how our "student-centred" pedagogy permeates the entire teaching-learning process. PART.01 Curriculum Briefing

At 9:30 a.m., the seminar officially started and comprehensively introduced PKXYS's educational goals and student academic planning. Head Principal Mr. WU Yuk Chi introduced the school's educational visions and mission; Principal Ms. WANG Hongjun presented the features, strengths and course design of the mainland curriculum; Deputy Director Ms. LIU Shen elaborated on the enrolment and admission process.

Principal Wu comprehensively presented the institution's pedagogical approach to parents, addressing foundational concepts, instructional resources, methodological frameworks, and cross-disciplinary synthesis. The presentation highlighted the importance of fostering learners' inherent drive for knowledge while nurturing independent learning competencies, thereby facilitating an enjoyable educational journey that naturally evolves into perpetual self-improvement through sustainable learning practices.

Principal Wang, with her genuine emotions and profound educational philosophy, comprehensively introduced the distinctive features of our school to the parents. We adhere to the teaching principle of "educating through details and leading by example," and uphold the management principles of "putting safety first and providing positive guidance." In our strict regulations, we never lose sight of humanistic care. By constructing a talent cultivation overpass that connects different educational stages and promotes diversified development, creating rich learning scenarios, and implementing a multi-dimensional and dynamic evaluation system, we are committed to laying a solid foundation for every student's life and academic pursuits, and to stimulating their inherent sense of responsibility and innovative potential. The core of our education is to help each child become a better version of themselves — "to be meaningful and contributory to others and society; to have the ability to attain happiness for oneself."

Subsequently, Teacher Liu elaborated in detail on our school's admission and enrolment procedures. The admission process is a vital part of the school, and during this process, we always uphold the principles of fairness, justice, and transparency, offering every student who desires to study at our school equal opportunities.

PART.02 Subject Exhibition

After the presentation ended, parents and children began touring the campus with the guidance of student ambassadors. In the subject exhibition area, we have meticulously designed eight core discipline booths: Chinese, English, Mathematics, Science, Visual Arts, Physical Education & Health, Music, and Foreign Language courses. These interactive displays vividly showcase our school's distinctive "Three-Dimensional Integration" curriculum system - through our "content-rich" course design and "scenario-based teaching" approach, we achieve an "edutainment" learning effect. Simultaneously, they demonstrate our "multi-dimensional evaluation" framework as well as the "interdisciplinary convergence" learning experience. Each booth embodies our student-centred educational philosophy, allowing visitors to directly appreciate our teaching commitment to cultivating well-rounded individuals.

PART.03 Student Performance

In the indoor basketball court, students presented choir, dance, drama, and gymnastics performances, showcasing their talents and youthful energy, bringing endless vitality to the event. 

PART.04 Campus Tour

Subsequently, parents and students took a campus tour led by student ambassadors. The tour includes three key functional zones - the academic precinct, residential quarter, and sports complex - featuring: standard classrooms, laboratories, a two-level library, professional performance venues, and tiered lecture halls. The tour also included athletic facilities such as a regulation football pitch, 400-meter running track, a heated swimming pool, basketball court, climbing wall, badminton facility, alongside residential amenities including student dormitories and a two-storey dining canteen. Our school's comprehensive infrastructure not only adequately supports conventional pedagogical requirements but more significantly provides exceptional physical resources for inquiry-driven learning and innovative praxis, thoroughly embodying our student development-centred educational philosophy.
