We are proud to announce that our Class of 2025 graduate, CAO Wan Chup, has been granted direct admission to the School of Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) under the School Nominations Direct Admission Scheme (SNDAS). This remarkable achievement reflects both his academic excellence and well-rounded personal development. CAO will pursue a Bachelor of Engineering with an Extended Major in Artificial Intelligence (program code: B3001AI) and has also been awarded a scholarship. This is a powerful endorsement of our school's educational excellence and a well-deserved reward for CAO's hard work and perseverance.

According to the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025, HKUST is ranked 17th globally and first in the Greater China region in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence—affirming its status as a world-class research institution. In its offer letter, HKUST commended CAO, noting that he "shares the same vigor and can-do spirit as HKUST" and honoured him with a scholarship.

CAO shared his excitement upon receiving the offer, expressing his sincere gratitude both to HKUST for the recognition and to our school for its unwavering support and guidance. In addition to the HKUST offer, he has also received a conditional offer from the University of Manchester's Department of Chemistry, demonstrating his broad academic interests and exceptional capabilities.

Our school takes great pride in CAO's early acceptance into one of the world's top AI programmes. We wish him continued success at HKUST and look forward to his future contributions to the field of artificial intelligence.
