4th G6 Graduation and Promotion Ceremony of PKXYS

As sunlight filters through the lush summer trees, it casts a golden glow on the shoulders of children about to take their final steps through the school gates. On this ordinary July day, a moment of extraordinary significance unfolds. On 13th July, Grade 6 students at Shenzhen Hong Kong Pui Kiu College Longhua Xinyi School (PKXYS) gathered for their graduation and promotion ceremony—an occasion to close the chapter on childhood and begin the journey into adolescence. It was their final assembly as primary students—a moment of joy, reflection, and heartfelt celebration. Through song, dance, and memory, they marked the end of a precious chapter and looked with hope towards new horizons.

01 Many Voices, One Dream

To cheerful music, the Grade 6 graduates entered the theatre in neat rows, each holding a cuddly bear dressed in the school uniform. Their steps were light, their faces alight with joy and quiet excitement.

As the clear voice of the host rang out, the ceremony officially began. Led by the school's flag-raising team, everyone rose to sing the national anthem together—its powerful melody soaring through the theatre, stirring hearts and lifting spirits.

School Supervisor Mr. TSANG Yok Sing (GBM, GBS, JP) and Head Principal Mr. WU Yuk Chi offered their warmest wishes to the students, encouraging them to become thoughtful, truth-seeking, and inquisitive young minds of a new generation. They expressed hope that, through critical thinking and a love of truth, students would develop deep cultural roots while embracing a broader, global perspective.

Teacher representatives smiled through teary eyes as they recalled small but meaningful moments of growth. Their words—tender and genuine—offered guidance like stars and blessings like a soft breeze: sincere, gentle, and full of care.

Student representatives took to the stage, reflecting on four years filled with laughter, challenges, and unexpected joys. Through role changes, new friendships, and shared experiences, they had grown from hesitant newcomers into confident, resilient individuals. Each ordinary day, they said, had become a memory to treasure.

02 In the Spotlight: From Memories to Magic

A video montage brought everyone back to the school's most cherished moments—laughter in the classroom, determination on the pitch, and wholehearted enthusiasm for every school event. These stories belong only to them—woven into the fabric of Pui Kiu life.

As the lights dimmed and the stage came alive, the performances began—each performance, inspired by the fearless spirit of Ne Zha, a mythic figure who dared to challenge fate. This year's graduates became their own "little Ne Zha"—bold, spirited, and unafraid to forge their own paths.

Like Ne Zha, the students of Class 6H4 had faced doubt, misunderstanding, and the struggle to grow into themselves. Their song "At the End of the Story" told of a journey not just through school, but through learning to believe in their own light. With the support of friends and teachers, they had found their direction—and that shining light now guides their dreams.

When Class 6H3 sang "My Future Is Not a Dream", it echoed Ne Zha's bold declaration: "I am the master of my own destiny." Their voices, full of fire and conviction, reminded us that every drop of sweat, every small triumph, is part of something greater. The future isn't distant—it begins now, in their own hands.

Like the quiet protectors in Ne Zha's story—the mentors, parents, and friends who offer love and strength—Class 6M2 paid tribute to those who lift us when we falter. Their song was a promise: the warmth we've received will one day become the light we offer the world.

Class 6H5's performance was full of life—like a sun rising through stormy skies. Their energy surged like wildfire, bold and bright. Their message: we are the morning sun, and every road we walk, no matter how rough, will eventually lead to beauty.

Class 6H2 delivered a blazing performance "This Is Ne Zha", filled with defiance and power. They captured the heart of Ne Zha's rebellion—breaking free from what others expect, reclaiming their truth, shining brightest at the moment the chains fall away.

Class 6H1's performance of "Until the End of the World" echoed the tragic grandeur of Ne Zha facing fate alone. Backed by pulsing drums and electric guitar, their performance radiated courage—an anthem for all who refuse to give in to fear or fate.

Class 6M1 explored the shadow side of growing up—fear, loneliness, and uncertainty—in their performance "Monsters". But through those emotions came a powerful clarity: they're not afraid to face what lies within. Their message was clear—we grow by confronting our own "monsters" and moving forward anyway.

03 Sealed in Time, Crowned with Grace

One of the most moving moments came as each student stepped forward to receive their certificate from Head Principal Mr. WU Yuk Chi, Principal Mr. Tommy WONG Tang Tat, and Executive Principal Dr. WANG Hongjun. With that gesture, they took not only a certificate but the mark of their growth and the quiet pride of their journey.

04 Letters to the Future, Echoes in the Sky

Witnessed by Mr. TSANG Yok Sing (GBM, GBS, JP), students sealed letters to their future selves in a time capsule, sending their hopes and dreams forward in time. In six years, they'll open them once more. Will their lives have answered the call they wrote today?

As the school song played for the last time, the theatre was full of hugs, laughter, and bittersweet goodbyes. May our students ride the wind and shine with their own light, stepping boldly into the future.
