Recitation Competition Celebrates the "1st July", National Security Education Nurtures Children's

HeartsHighlights of the Primary Section's "1st July" Celebration in 2025

On 3rd July 2025, the Primary Section of Pui Kiu Xinyi School held a series of activities to celebrate the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the 28th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, and the 5th anniversary of the promulgation of the Hong Kong National Security Law. With the theme "Love the Country and Hong Kong - National Security Starts with Me", the celebration included a recitation competition, a knowledge quiz, and a talent show, instilling patriotic values in all teachers and students and strengthening their awareness of national security.

Patriotic Sentiments Echoing in the Theatre

The recitation competition for Grades 3 to 5 students reached a climax in the 400-seat Theatre. Grade 3 students expressed their love for the motherland with their youthful voices through the recitation work of "I Love You, China". Grade 4 students performed their recitation work of "Reading Chinese Culture", highlighting the traditional cultural heritage, while Grade 5 students' recitation work "The Chinese Language" showcased the charm of the Chinese language. These original recitation pieces centred on the theme of "national security", with the students using self-written poems to convey their understanding of national security and demonstrate their sense of responsibility as youths of the new era.

The celebration activities held in classrooms of Grades 1-2 students were also very vibrant. The students expressed their celebration of "1st July" through a variety of performances such as dancing, singing, and recitation, either individually or in groups.

Fun Learning of National Security Knowledge

The national security knowledge quiz, specially designed by the Moral Ambassadors, was held enthusiastically on the B1 floor. Students had pre-studied the knowledge in the National Security Knowledge Brochure compiled by the Moral and National Education Department of the Primary Section. Then they visited the quiz booths hosted by the Moral Ambassadors to participate in the interactive quiz game. Tailored to different grade levels, the quiz questions were delicately designed by the Moral Ambassadors. Most students answered correctly and happily received small gifts as rewards.

National Security Education: Nurturing New Generations for the Future

The Primary Section of our school will continue to strengthen patriotic education, instill the concept of safeguarding national security, and nurture idealistic and responsible young students for the new era!
