On 6th August 2025, the official results of the "Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS)" in Hong Kong were announced. According to our statistics, the second cohort of Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Exam candidates of Pui Kiu Xinyi School (PKXYS) have achieved remarkable results. 54.1% of the candidates have been admitted to Top 3 universities in Hong Kong, 68.9% have been admitted to Top 5 universities in Hong Kong, 81.1% have been admitted to Top 8 universities in Hong Kong, 74.5% have been admitted to "Project 985 / 211" universities in the Mainland of China. This outstanding achievement not only demonstrates the continuous improvement of the school's educational standards but also deeply affirms the correctness of our strategy for promoting Shenzhen-Hong Kong educational integration.

Admissions to the Top Universities in Hong Kong

●Among the 74 Grade 12 graduates of our Hong Kong Curriculum this year, 40 students (54.1%) were admitted to the Bachelor's Degree programmes of The University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology through the "Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS)" in Hong Kong; 51 students (68.9%) were admitted to Top 5 universities in Hong Kong; 60 students (81.1%) were admitted to Top 8 universities in Hong Kong.

●This year, two graduates of our school have been pre-admitted to the Economics/Economics and Finance Programme at The University of Hong Kong, the Arts Programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Visual Arts Programme at Hong Kong Baptist University through the "School Principal's Nominations (SPN)" Scheme.

●This year, one graduate of our school was directly admitted to the School of Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), with an Extended Major in Artificial Intelligence through the "School Nominations Direct Admission Scheme (SNDAS)" of the Hong Kong Education Bureau, and was also awarded a full scholarship from HKUST. HKUST currently ranks 17th globally and 1st in Greater China in the field of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

●High-performing candidates in the HKDSE Examination were admitted to a variety of popular programmes, including Laws, Pharmacy, Computer Science (AI, Data and System, Cybersecurity),  Biotechnology, Engineering, Economics and Finance, Financial and Actuarial Analysis, Journalism and Communication, Optometry, Global China Studies, Fine Arts, etc.

Admissions to the Top Universities in Mainland of China

●This year, one graduate of our school was admitted to the Electronic Information programme at Tsinghua University. Currently, Tsinghua University ranks 17th in the QS World University Rankings 2026, and ranks 11th globally and 1st in the Greater China region in the field of Computer Science and Information Systems.

●This year, among the graduates from our school participating in the "Scheme for Admission of Hong Kong Students to Mainland Higher Education Institutions", 74.5% candidates have received admission offers from "Project 985 / 211" universities in Mainland of China.

●Many of our graduates were admitted to prestigious universities in the Mainland of China, with their respective rankings shown below. Our graduates were admitted to various popular programmes including Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Big Data, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Medicine, Law, Psychology, Linguistics, Journalism and Communication, E-commerce, etc.

Admissions to the Top Overseas Universities

●Many of our students have also used their HKDSE exam results to successfully apply for Bachelor's Degree programmes of top overseas universities in the UK, Australia, France, Canada, etc., and have been admitted to popular programmes such as Finance, Business, Chemistry, Physiotherapy, Art, etc.

●These top overseas universities include: University of Toronto, The University of Manchester, University of Bristol, the French Academy of Art, and the University of Newcastle, Australia, etc.

In 2025, graduates from our A-Level and International Foundation Year (IFY) programmes also achieved remarkable success, with 100% of them receiving offers from QS Top 40 global universities. These impressive achievements highlight our school's success in offering diverse university pathways for students in the Greater Bay Area.

In the overall development of our country, the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area maintains a dynamic momentum.
