ACE Programme First-Term Academic Presentation Concludes Successfully

On the afternoon of 10th December, the lecture halls were filled with sparks of thought and youthful energy. The ACE Programme of international curriculum successfully held its first-term academic presentation event of the academic year, where students delivered team-based presentations to showcase their research achievements, demonstrating exceptional academic literacy and collaborative spirit.

The presentation topics spanned various fields including Economics, Business, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science, fully reflecting the depth and breadth of students' academic exploration. From innovative business thinking to cutting-edge scientific research, each presentation was the culmination of months of diligent study, discussion, and creative practice.

Part.01 Live Event Highlights

The event was held simultaneously across three parallel venues, allowing teachers and students to participate according to their personal interests. Each venue featured 3 to 4 academic presentations, along with a live voting session where student audiences selected the "Most Engaging Presentation Award," encouraging diverse expression and public participation.

Meanwhile, the teacher judging panel conducted professional evaluations based on the criteria for the "Academic Excellence Award," assessing aspects such as content accuracy, structural logic, fluency of expression, and time management, comprehensively recognising students' academic performance.

Part.02 Honourable Moments

At the conclusion of the event, award ceremonies were held in each venue to commend outstanding teams that demonstrated both academic depth and expressive charm. The awards not only acknowledged students' hard work and achievements but also further deepened the campus culture of confident expression and proactive inquiry.We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all ACE Programme mentors, teacher judges, organising team members, and student leaders for their full support, ensuring the smooth and successful completion of the event. We also thank every student who attended, participated in discussions, and voted, making this academic gathering vibrant and inspiring.

"Stepping onto the ACE presentation stage for the first time felt both novel and fulfilling. During the preparation process, in order to achieve academic rigour, interactivity, and entertainment simultaneously, my classmates, teachers, and I rehearsed repeatedly. I'm thrilled that we ultimately delivered a complete presentation. More than the award, I'm happier about the friendships and personal growth I gained. I also hope our sharing brought some value to everyone. See you next year!"

"This TED-Talk experience has truly been immensely rewarding and has given me invaluable growth. Initially, as a team leader for the first time and with teammates I wasn't very familiar with, I felt a lot of pressure and nervousness, constantly worrying that I wasn't doing enough. However, thanks to the warm encouragement from teachers and the collaborative efforts of my team members, we worked step by step to refine every detail and rehearse repeatedly. The moment we won two awards, a sense of accomplishment washed over me—I knew our team was amazing!

For this TED-Talk, every member of our team gave their all. As the leader, I am especially grateful for the trust and support everyone gave me. Honestly, from the start, winning awards wasn't our only goal; we simply wanted to give our best according to our own standards. Winning was just a pleasant surprise that came naturally!

I also want to especially thank the school and teachers for creating such an excellent platform, allowing us to showcase what we've learnt, exchange ideas, and grow. Everyone gained their own unique insights from this event. Additionally, as the ACE Programme chairperson, I feel particularly honoured and happy to have contributed to organising this event!"

The annual academic presentation of the ACE Programme will continue to serve as an important platform for students' academic growth, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and development of expressive skills. We look forward to witnessing more young minds shine on stage in the years to come.
