A Vibrant Campus, Where Growth Shines!——Primary School First-Term Student Academic Assembly Concludes with Success
This first term, our Primary School held a series of remarkable student academic assemblies. Each event was full of highlights, thoughtfully designed by teachers across subject groups and brought to life through the enthusiastic participation of our students. Their diverse performances vividly reflected not only their academic progress but also their growth in multiple dimensions. More than a presentation of outcomes, it was a lively extension of classroom learning and a celebration of curiosity. Let’s take a look back at these memorable moments together!
PE: Grace in Motion and Stillness, Energy and Beauty in Action!
Students from the Physical Education Department brought the skills they diligently practiced during after-school training sessions onto the stage. This performance was not only a dazzling display of talent but also an extension of the physical education curriculum’s focus on skill development, physical fitness, and value education. Through captivating performances in Wushu, rope skipping, and sports dance, the students vividly showcased the core elements emphasized in PE classes: coordination, rhythm, strength control, and teamwork.






Minor Languages: Many Languages, Many Cultures!
The songs performed by the Foreign Language Department students were drawn from their regular classroom thematic units. The German class presented the “Birthday Song” from their “Birthday” unit, the French class focused on the theme of “Body Parts,” and the Spanish class performed a song about animals, delivered spectacularly by advanced-level students. These engaging performances highlighted their language proficiency and learning achievements.
On stage, the children’s clear and vibrant voices brought to life songs about animals, birthdays, and body parts. Whether it was the precision of German, the elegance of French, or the passion of Spanish, the students sang with authenticity and charm, capturing the unique beauty of each language. Their pure pronunciation and playful, joyful singing delighted the audience. Every lyric onstage seemed to open a cultural window, allowing the audience to experience the wonders of multilingualism. It turns out that learning languages can be this much fun!




English: Lighting the Way with Song!
Students from the English Department, representing the “English Drama” and “English Performing Arts” programs, combined their classroom-learned performance techniques, voice modulation, and singing into a confident and engaging showcase of English charm. With their enthusiastic performances, they brought to life the skills they had honed in class, demonstrating their love for English learning and their ability to express themselves creatively through the language.
Through cheerful English songs, our students turned the hall into a lively, playful space! Singing and dancing with infectious energy, they had the whole audience clapping along. Their performances illustrated a love for English that goes beyond the classroom—showing how language opens doors to fun, creativity, and self-expression.





CCME: Where Character Meets Culture!
Drawing on their classroom studies of the “Dragon and Phoenix” theme, students transformed their learning into a creative and heartfelt stage presentation.
As part of the “Dragon” module, students learned the song “Descendants of the Dragon,” forming a choir that sang with clear, proud voices to express their connection to Chinese culture. In studying the “Phoenix,” they extended their learning by designing class emblems inspired by our school badge. Onstage, they vividly explained their designs—some incorporating traditional motifs, others reflecting class identity—winning applause for their creativity. Through song and symbol, the seeds of culture are taking root and growing in their hearts.





STEM: Exploring Science, Creating Harmony!
Our STEM students presented a fun-filled exploration of sound, this term’s classroom theme. They began with an interactive experiment demonstrating how sound is produced and travels, and what links frequency and pitch—making complex ideas simple and engaging. Then, using “scientific instruments” they built themselves, the students performed a harmonious ensemble piece. Blending science with music, they displayed not only hands-on skill and inventive thinking but also the wonder of discovery. Truly, learning came alive in this feast for the senses!





Mathematics: Fun with Numbers and Shapes!
Turning their first-grade studies of “Numbers” and “3D Shapes” into lively songs and drama, our students filled the stage with creativity and joy!
They opened with the classroom favourite “Number blocks Songs Peekaboo!,” inviting everyone into the world of numbers. Next, the short play “The Missing 3D Shape” turned students into little detectives, searching for lost shapes while reinforcing geometry concepts. A spirited Q&A session had hands shooting up as students reviewed what they’d learned with enthusiasm. By blending music, drama, and math, the show proved that learning can be both meaningful and fun.






With its unique and engaging presentations, these student academic assemblies have drawn to a successful close. Each performance reflected the dedication of our teachers and the hard work of our students, who truly shone on stage. Beyond a display of learning, it was a celebration of growth and perseverance. We extend our heartfelt thanks to every student for their wonderful contributions, to every teacher for their guidance, and to every parent for your ongoing support. Together, let’s continue creating opportunities for our children to shine, explore, and chase their dreams!
