6th September 2024 marks both the anniversary of Shenzhen Hong Kong Pui Kiu College Longhua Xinyi School (PKXYS) and its third year of establishment. Over the past three years, with strong support from the governments of both Shenzhen and Hong Kong, as well as the attention and assistance from various sectors, PKXYS has achieved high-quality development at Shenzhen speed in both campus construction and educational excellence.

Today, on this Mid-Autumn Festival, with great excitement, our school is officially releasing the "Three Remarkable Years of Dedication" milestone report, to reflect on the significant events achieved since our founding. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the governments, various sectors, parents, students, and all staff members for their generous support in our school's development!

21st July 2020

The People's Government of Longhua District of Shenzhen Municipality, Hong Kong Pui Kiu College, and Shenzhen Xinyi Holdings Group Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation memorandum, reaching an agreement on the establishment of the school in Longhua District.

10th February 2021

The signing and launch ceremony of PKXYS was held simultaneously in Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Mrs. Carrie LAM CHENG Yuet Ngor (GBM, GBS, JP), then Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Mr. WANG Weizhong, then Deputy Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Committee and Secretary of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee, attended the event online and delivered speeches from Hong Kong and Shenzhen, respectively.

25th May 2021

Phase 1 project (teaching building) topped out.

18th August 2021

Faculty members from both the Hong Kong curriculum and the Mainland curriculum gathered for pre-school-year training.

6th September 2021

PKXYS held its first opening ceremony, achieving the milestone from signing to school opening in just 208 days. The ceremony was attended by the following guests:

9th December 2021

Astronauts ZHAI Zhigang, WANG Yaping, and YE Guangfu from the Shenzhou-13 mission conducted the first lesson of "Tiangong Classroom" at China's space station. Our sister school, Hong Kong Pui Kiu College, became the only ground-based classroom in Hong Kong for this lesson, and our school organised students to actively participate in the lesson.

17th August 2022

Shenzhen Hong Kong Pui Kiu College Longhua Xinyi Kindergarten was officially established.

2022-2023 Academic Year: Facilities Expand, Hong Kong and Shenzhen Connect

13th September 2022

All faculty and students held the opening ceremony for the 2022-2023 academic year online. The Phase 2 campus facilities, including the kindergarten, student dormitories, family residence building, auditorium, and cafeteria, were all put into use.

12th October 2022

PKXYS became the first Junior Police Call (JPC) school club in Mainland of China. The inauguration ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including:

Peking opera master Mr. MENG Guanglu, accompanied by young Peking opera performers from Longhua District, visited our school for an exchange and performance.

PKXYS was accredited by both Cambridge International Education and Pearson Edexcel to offer A-Level courses.

The campus television station was officially put into service.

The 5th Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Mrs. Carrie LAM CHENG Yuet Ngor (GBM, GBS, JP), visited and delivered a lecture titled "Steadfast Direction, Steady Progress," engaging closely with faculty and students.

PKXYS was accredited by the Northern Consortium of the United Kingdom (NCUK) and authorised to offer the International Foundation Year (IFY) programme.

President XI replied to a letter from students of Hong Kong Pui Kiu Middle School to encourage them. On 6th September, a teacher from PKXYS, at the invitation of the Longhua District Education Bureau, gave the first lesson of the new academic year to all students in Longhua District, focusing on the spirit in President XI's letter.

Central Committee of the Communist Youth League: President XI replied to a letter to encourage students of Hong Kong Pui Kiu Middle School.

PKXYS held the opening ceremony for the 2023-2024 academic year.

11th October 2023

The Secondary School Division established a Student Union and four Houses (Mars, Venus, Mercury and Jupiter) to allow students to fully showcase their talents.

15th January 2024

Renowned calligraphy educator Mr. HU Yifan visited our school to conduct calligraphy skills training for teachers and students.

26th January 2024

Renowned crosstalk performer Mr. JIANG Kun, along with masters of Quanzhou string puppetry and Quanzhou Gaojia opera, visited to present a spectacular artistic feast for teachers and students.

6th March 2024

PKXYS students were invited to participate in a dialogue with the current Financial Secretary of Hong Kong, Mr. Paul CHAN Mo Po (GBM, GBS).

Mr. YANG Dan, the Director of the Office of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Affairs of the Ministry of Education, and his team visited our school for an inspection.

11th April 2024

PKXYS became Shenzhen's first and only Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) examination centre, with the centre number SZ1000.

PKXYS held its first University Fair, welcoming over 30 renowned institutions from countries such as the UK, the US, Australia, and Canada, as well as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area of China. This fair facilitated engaging discussions and valuable exchanges with leading global institutions.

19th April 2024

Mrs. FAN HSU Lai Tai (GBM, GBS), the first Chairperson of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, delivered a keynote lecture on national security education at our school.

31st May 2024

The Guangdong research team of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Deputies to the National People's Congress visited the school for a research study. The team was led by Mr. MA Fung Kwok (GBS, JP), a current member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council.

Our school held its first Grade 12 graduation ceremony and unveiled the Cultural and Sports Centre (a 3,000-seat auditorium, an 800-seat theatre, a heated swimming pool, and an indoor tennis court), marking the completion of Phase 3 project. The guests attending the graduation ceremony included:

Following the release of HKDSE results, many students from our school achieved grades of 5, 5, and 5* in multiple subjects. Over 40% of our students earned a top score of 20 points or more in their best scoring five subjects. Additionally, many of our inaugural Grade 12 graduates have secured places at leading universities in Mainland of China, Hong Kong, and abroad.
