Our Hong Kong Curriculum:

Seamless Hong Kong Education Experience

· Primary Division – Hong Kong Curriculum

Our school is a one-stop school that follows the curriculum framework and goals of the Education Bureau of Hong Kong. We provide a comprehensive and coherent Hong Kong curriculum system for Hong Kong students aged 6 to 18. The primary and secondary school stages are seamlessly connected to ensure a smooth transition and continuous development for students.

· Secondary Division-Hong Kong Curriculum

The Hong Kong curriculum is holistically designed with reference to the central curriculum framework and goals set by the Hong Kong Education Bureau to bring the best out of each student and nurture them to be lifelong learners and leaders of tomorrow regardless of their backgrounds. Through providing multiple learning platforms,it is hoped that students acquire and master useful knowledge from the subjects that they study; enhance their competencies and generic skills, develop positive values and the right attitudes towards challenges. In the learning process, we expect students to demonstrate the ability to be a self-directed learner with multiple perspectives and analytical skills and their readiness to be a global citizen who can take on new responsibilities.

2025 HKDSE Exam and Universities Admissions Results of PKXYS

According to our statistics, the second cohort of Grade 12 Graduates of Pui Kiu Xinyi School (PKXYS) have achieved remarkable results. Among them, 53.3% of Grade 12 Graduates of the Hong Kong Curriculum have been admitted to Top 3 universities in Hong Kong, 69.3% have been admitted to Top 5 universities in Hong Kong, 81.3% have been admitted to Top 8 universities in Hong Kong, 74.5% have been admitted to "Project 985 / 211" universities in the Mainland of China.

About Us

Founded in 2021, Shenzhen Hong Kong Pui Kiu College Longhua Xinyi School (PKXYS) combines Chinese and Western educational practices and bridges Shenzhen and Hong Kong. It is the first international boarding school in the Mainland of China to offer three curricula, namely mainland curriculum, Hong Kong curriculum, and international curriculum. In addition, it is the first school in the Mainland of China to adopt an operational model aligned with Hong Kong's subsidised or direct subsidy scheme schools. This model has been coordinated by the Hong Kong Education Bureau and confirmed by the Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation (HKCAA) through external evaluation. The school is also the first and only Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) Centre in Shenzhen. In 2023, Shenzhen Hong Kong Pui Kiu College Longhua Xinyi Kindergarten was founded, and PKXYS became the first 16-year through-train international school in the Mainland of China, offering education from kindergarten to senior secondary school.

Excellent Staff Qualifications

We have meticulously assembled a highly qualified teaching team based on the criteria of “academic qualifications, teaching expertise, and professional ethics.”

· Principal Office members have an average teaching experience of more than 20 years

· Over 80% of Hong Kong Curriculum teachers are from Hong Kong

· Over 80% of teachers have educational backgrounds from Hong Kong or overseas

· Over 60% of faculty hold master’s or doctoral degrees

Well-equipped Campus Facilities

The school covers a total area of 45,000 square metres, with a built-up area of 200,000 square metres. It is equipped with a standard football field, a 400-metre track, a heated indoor swimming pool, a basketball court, a climbing wall and tennis courts. In addition, the school offers a grand hall, a grand theatre, a campus TV station, a 400-seat theatre, three tiered lecture halls, a large two-storey library, a lower primary library, a two-storey canteen, a separate dormitory and a family residence building.

Accessible Campus

The school is adjacent to Shenzhen North Railway Station (Shenzhen's high-speed railway terminal) in Longhua District, Shenzhen (approximately an 8-10-minute walk). It offers direct access to West Kowloon Station in the heart of Hong Kong within approximately 18 minutes, Guangzhou South Railway Station within 29 minutes, and approximately 15 Chinese mainland provincial capital cities, making transportation extremely convenient. The school is at the intersection of Metro Lines 4, 5, and 6. It is accessible to districts such as Nanshan, Futian, Luohu, and Longgang and only takes 20 minutes to reach Futian Checkpoint, providing quick and convenient connections.
